Decorations Contest 2009

Merchants and property owners on Broadway, 2nd Avenue and Printers Alley are encouraged to decorate their store fronts from top to bottom.

The contest now in it’s 7th year is being sponsored by The District
.
Judging will be made by members of the art community. Judging will take place Thursday night December 3rd. Winners of the holiday decorating contest will be honored by riding in vintage cars during the Nashville 57th annual Christmas parade.

The contest will feature a 1st Place prize $500, a 2nd Place prize of $300, and a 3rd Place prize of $100. In addition, there will printed certificates, that can be displayed in the establishments’ of the winners. Winner will be posted on our web site, also press release to the media.

Mayor’s tree lighting and Christmas parade will be Friday December 4th.
